Whether it's in our homes, workplaces, or public spaces, we all want to know that we can live our lives without fear of harm. We may have different approaches to how we feel is the best way to achieve that but at the end of they we just want to know that we and the ones we love are safe.
Truth
In a world where misinformation is all too common, it's more important than ever to seek out the truth. Regardless of political affiliation or ideology, we all want to be informed and have access to accurate information.
Freedom
Our desire for freedom is what makes us Human. We all wish to live our lives without undue interference and to be a part of a society that respects and promotes individual freedom for all.
So then why does it feel like nobody is on the same page?

Media in the U.S. threatens and misconstrues these core beliefs we all share as a way to divide us into polarizing categories, leaving no room for nuance or grey areas in very complex and specific issues. The rise of internet and online communication has only exacerbated this problem. We are isolated and pinned against each other. As a result of this, we focus and direct our energy in the wrong places. Let’s begin to encourage and inspire each other to get out of our individualistic bubbles, we are social creatures and we need community. We need change! We need each other!
